Enjoy samples of food and drink from all over the world during a leisurely stroll around Cardiff’s beautiful city centre.
Cardiff has a thriving food scene – Welsh signature foods, ethnic and continental foods, markets and festivals. The variety of cuisines includes French, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai, … the list goes on and on. On our Cosmopolitan Cardiff Food Tour, you’ll enjoy samples of food from all over the world and find out about different cuisines (including Welsh of course) in cafes, delis and restaurants dotted around Cardiff city centre.
As you walk from one venue to the next (at a very leisurely pace with a little time for shopping)) you’ll learn about Cardiff’s varied and lively history, while getting the chance to admire the city’s wonderful architecture and many landmarks. These include Cardiff castle, the City Hall and Principality Stadium (the home of Welsh rugby). The Loving Welsh Food guide will share his/her stories with you and offer you a unique and personal tour of Cardiff. A few words of Welsh are on the menu too!
You’ll tuck into some Welsh, Portuguese, Italian, Continental, Thai and Spanish food and drink on the tour. You can choose to upgrade to a large glass of wine, rather than a small glass, with your Italian dish and a glass of Cava or Toro Blanco (Spanish craft pale ale) with your sherry tasting.
By booking a private tour, we can tailor the itinerary to suit your requirements. Timings can be flexible and tastings can be amended. Tours can be run in Welsh, French, Italian and Spanish upon request.
Maximum number per tour – 10 people
