Castles, Coast & Cuisine – Full Day
This tour enables you to visit one of Wales’ most beautiful castles, tuck into a fabulous Welsh lunch and enjoy a fun Farm Safari.
We start the tour with a visit to the fairy tale Castell Coch, the summer residence of the 3rd Marquess of Bute, one of the Fathers of Cardiff. The castle is a romantic folly supposedly reproducing a small medieval welsh chieftain’s stronghold, built in 1870, with the most remarkable interior decoration.
We then travel to the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan for a delicious Welsh lunch at the Cobbles Kitchen & Deli housed in a gorgeous 17th Century, Grade II listed barn.
Our visit to the Welsh coast takes us to Slade Farm Organics where we go on an entertaining farm safari along the stunning South Wales Heritage coast followed by tea and cake in the lovely farmhouse garden.
Enjoy the magnificent interior design at Castell Coch, the fabulous scenery in the Vale of Glamorgan accompanied by delicious food & drink and a few words of Welsh with your Loving Welsh Food Guide.
