FAQs

Coronavirus / Covid-19 Outbreak

We are following current government guidelines and therefore all of our tours have been cancelled until further notice. If you have purchased a ticket for one of our tours and will not be attending due to concerns or direct impact from the Coronavirus outbreak, you can choose to reschedule your tour to another date or we can offer a full refund of your purchase price.

We will be posting more advice following government guidelines for tours as soon as we can.

If we need to cancel a tour in line with government advice, we will inform all customers with live bookings as soon as we become aware.  As the situation is changing very quickly, we will do our best to inform you as soon as possible. The options of an exchange or refund are as above.

Payment
Fees are set out clearly in advance for each tour, either on the web pages or (in the case of private tours) in correspondence with Loving Welsh Food. It is the responsibility of customers to ensure that payment is made on booking (or in the case of private tours, as agreed) with Loving Welsh Food.
Bookings for private tours which have not been settled as agreed in advance will be deemed to have self-cancelled unless post event payment has been agreed. We reserve the right to levy an administration charge (minimum £10) where customers have to be chased for payment due to missing agreed deadlines.

Weather Conditions
Tours will take place come rain or shine – unless they present a risk to health and safety. Should the weather situation suggest cancellation is necessary then LWF will contact those with bookings as soon as possible and a full refund or rescheduling will be offered. Rain or cold alone does not constitute a valid reason for cancelling a tour and should you wish to cancel then LWF regrets that a refund cannot be made .

LWF reserves the right to cancel the tour in case of any circumstances beyond our control. In the case of a tour being cancelled every effort will be made to contact you in advance and a choice of full refund or rescheduling will be offered.

NO ALCOHOL TO BE BROUGHT ON A TOUR.

LWF will refuse to take (or will remove from a tour) anyone on a tour who is, or appears to be, under the influence of excessive alcohol or any other intoxicating substance, or anyone whose behaviour is detrimental to the enjoyment of other tour participants, or a risk to their own or others’ safety. Where individuals belong to a group, the whole group will be excluded without refund. This rule is in place in the best interests of all concerned.

Changes to your tour
Sometimes circumstances beyond LWF’s control dictate a last minute change to the menu or venues visited. Should this occur, alternative venues or menu choices will be provided where possible. The aim of LWF is that you leave having had a wonderful experience and wanting more.

Come prepared
Please ensure you are dressed appropriately. For the Cardiff Tasting Tour and Cardiff Food Adventure comfortable walking shoes and clothing appropriate to the time of year and weather are essential. For our Welshcakes & Wine, Country House, Coast & Cuisine & Castles, Coast and Cuisine the route may at times be muddy or overgrown. Good outdoor walking shoes / wellies and outdoor clothing are strongly advised.

No matter how much you will be looked after on your visit, ultimately you are responsible for your own personal safety at all times. LWF also asks that you remain vigilant and keep your personal possessions safe. LWF can accept no responsibility for any loss of possessions or for any injury caused by your not taking care when crossing roads or not watching out for obstructions.
