Who doesn’t love a warm Welshcake? Keep Sian company as she demonstrates how to make the best welshcakes and chats about Welsh food & drink. We also send you the recipe so you can cook along with Sian – there’s nothing better than a warm welshcake & a glass of White Castle wine. Chris Jones is our host for the evening.

Sian Roberts from Loving Welsh Food has been running food tours and cooking workshops in Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan for just over 5 years. “Guests always enjoy our traditional recipes – simple to cook and fabulous to eat! They love finding out about our food heritage and culture, as well as trying to pronounce some of our challenging Welsh words!”
Whitecastle Vineyard is situated in the beautiful countryside of Monmouthsire near the market town of Abergavenny. Having purchased the 12 acre small holding in 1995, Robb and Nicola Merchant converted the milking parlour into their home a year later. Robb tells us all about their dream of owning a vineyard and how it became a reality. Check out the website to see their range of wines and vineyard activities.

Chris Jones started his career as a teaboy and runner, whilst being trained as a cameraman for an independent television and corporate company. He then started to
work on the other side of the camera and has been presenting, in both English and Welsh, for nearly 30 years, on television, radio, in corporate and public sector events. A more recent development in his work has been hosting, presenting and facilitating online events.

Delivery
Alcohol items cannot be purchased by any individual under the age of 18, neither can they be delivered to any individual under the age of 18. Our courier will ask for age verification on delivery if they believe the recipient could be under 18. If you have ordered alcohol from us but won’t be at your designated delivery address on your selected delivery day it is your responsibility to ensure that another adult, aged 18 or over, is there to receive the order.

At Loving Welsh Food we aim to showcase the best of Welsh food and drink and work with small, independent producers. We are delighted to be working with White Castle Vineyard and Fabulous Welshcakes for this event.
Tech Requirements
All you need is a laptop or tablet with sound, a built-in camera and high speed internet. You’ll get set-up instructions prior to the evening. It’s easy!
Notes
The Online Welsh Wine Tasting & Warm Welshcakes requires a minimum number of 15 Participants (homes) in order to run. If the show doesn’t take place, we can reschedule for a later date or provide a 100% full refund.
