Policy
Payment
Fees are set out clearly in advance for each tour, either on the web pages or (in the case of private tours) in correspondence with Loving Welsh Food. It is the responsibility of customers to ensure that payment is made on booking or as agreed with Loving Welsh Food.
Bookings for private tours which have not been settled as agreed in advance will be deemed to have self-cancelled unless post event payment has been agreed. We reserve the right to levy an administration charge (minimum £10) where customers have to be chased for payment due to missing agreed deadlines.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Loving Welsh Food will refund payment made providing reasonable notice is given in writing by email to info@lovingwelshfood.uk (please DO NOT use social media such as Facebook).
Public/scheduled tours:
Cancellation period is up to 48 hours before the day of the tour and we will refund 30% of the cost of the tour.
If you cannot make your tour, we can reschedule your ticket at no extra cost. *Situation dependent, LWF reserves the right to charge a rebooking admin fee.
Private tours:
Cancellation period for private tours of 2-10 people is a minimum of 1 week’s notice ; for groups of 11+, we require a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice.
If the tour has been paid in full and a cancellation is made within the above time frames, we will refund the total cost of the tour minus the deposit and a 10% admin fee. Deposits are non-refundable.
If you cannot make your tour, we can reschedule your ticket at no extra cost. Situation dependent, LWF reserves the right to charge a rebooking admin fee.
*This only applies where a booking is made directly with Loving Welsh Food. If booking through a third party please check their cancellation policy.
Adverse Weather Conditions Policy
Tours will take place come rain or shine – unless they present a risk to health and safety. Should the weather situation suggest cancellation is necessary then LWF will contact those with bookings as soon as possible and a full refund or rescheduling will be offered. Rain or cold alone does not constitute a valid reason for cancelling a tour and should you wish to cancel then LWF regrets that a refund cannot be made.
LWF reserves the right to cancel the tour in case of any circumstances beyond our control. In the case of a tour being cancelled every effort will be made to contact you in advance and a choice of full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
Alcohol Policy
*NO ALCOHOL TO BE BROUGHT ON A TOUR.
LWF will refuse to take (or will remove from a tour) anyone on a tour who is, or appears to be, under the influence of excessive alcohol or any other intoxicating substance, or anyone whose behaviour is detrimental to the enjoyment of other tour participants, or a risk to their own or others’ safety. Where individuals belong to a group, the whole group will be excluded without refund. This rule is in place in the best interests of all concerned.
Tour Changes Policy
Sometimes circumstances beyond LWF’s control dictate a last-minute change to the menu or venues visited. Should this occur, alternative venues or menu choices will be provided where possible. The aim of LWF is that you leave having had a wonderful experience and we will do our best to accommodate that.
LWF reserves the right to cancel the tour in case of any circumstances beyond our control. In the case of a tour being cancelled every effort will be made to contact you in advance and a choice of full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
Safety Policy
No matter how much you will be looked after on your visit, ultimately you are responsible for your own personal safety at all times. LWF also asks that you remain vigilant and keep your personal possessions safe.
LWF can accept no responsibility for any loss of possessions or for any injury caused by your not taking care when crossing roads or not watching out for obstructions.
All tours will be run safely and in compliance with Welsh Government Covid-19 guidelines.
